While the NFT craze has hit the world and started a whole new movement that has now translated into the more serious metaverse concept, it still has potential to attract the crazy/dangerous persons, even those on trial for US federal crimes. Enter Jacob Chansley, the shirtless king of Douche land who was part of a group of Donald Trump supporters who attacked the US Capitol building to try and overturn the election results and resulted in the deaths of more than five people.
Jacob Chansley is a trump supporter and a self-claimed Shaman of the QAnon conspiracy theory that believes in all kinds of craziness including an outlandish claim that the world is governed by pedophile sex traffickers who eat human flesh. Chansley is a proud member of this cult and on January 6 under instructions from the then President Donald Trump, he and thousands of other MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters attacked the Capitol building where a vote count was in progress to elect the president of the United States. Trump had already lost the election and now resorted to physical tactics and sent his angry crowd to the Capitol building to stop the process. Soon afterwards, hordes of Trump supporters entered the building forcefully and managed to stop the counting process, Chansley was among them. He paraded down the Capitol building shirtless with a horn head on top and clicked this hilarious, yet then unfathomable picture of him in the president’s dice flexing his arms proudly:
Eventually, these protestors were cleared from the building and city and soon afterwards, the voting began again, declaring Joe Biden as the next President of the United States. Using footages from various sources, federal agencies began to round up the January 6 rioters in droves, hundreds of who were put in trial. Among them was Chansley himself who was caught on video doing all sorts of crazy things in the Capitol building. He was promptly given 48 months in prison for this illegal act. His defence was as unbelievable as his acts and he claimed that Trump ordered them there and he fulfilled that order. His lawyer claimed:
“[Chansley]had a fondness for Trump that was not unlike the first love a man may have for a girl, or a girl for a man, or man for a man.”
The lazily put NFT collection includes rendering of his various costumes that he used as a self-claimed QAnon Shaman. He probably is now thinking that the whole episode was a waste of time and now wants to profit from it. He even expressed disappointment in Trump so the first love is clearly gone now. It is clearly not known whether anyone would be interested in this Sherrif of Douchetown’s NFTs.
