The biggest Twitter hack? Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Uber and many more

2020 is getting crazier and crazier – Previously we reported that Elon Musk twitter was hacked, but it seems like that many more accounts were involved in this cryptocurrency scam. The solution was not implemented yet, the hack is ongoing, with new tweets posting to verified accounts after 4PM ET.

It was all started with Elon Musks account, then slowly started to spread through verified accounts with the same content and Bicoin address. Bill Gates spokeperson reported that the tweet was not sent by Bill Gates.

“We can confirm that this tweet was not sent by Bill Gates. This appears to be part of a larger issue that Twitter is facing. Twitter is aware and working to restore the account.”

Soon after the initial wave of tweets from Bill Gates and Elon Musk’s accounts, the accounts of Apple, Uber,   Joe Biden, Kanye West, and former New York City mayor and billionaire Mike Bloomberg, among others, were also compromised and began promoting the scam.
